JMED Research and Development on Medical Sciences is a scholarly publishing organization based in Iligan City, Philippines. Each JMED journal has a clearly defined aims and scope, an editorial board composed of qualified scholars and professionals, an established peer-review process, author guidelines, publication ethics policies, and a regular publication schedule.

Editorial decisions are based on the relevance, originality, methodological soundness, clarity, scholarly contribution, and ethical integrity of submitted manuscripts. Payment of an article processing charge, when applicable, does not guarantee acceptance and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

Our Publishing Commitments

JMED Research and Development on Medical Sciences is committed to:

Editorial Independence. Editors make publication decisions according to scholarly merit, peer-review findings, ethical compliance, and the stated aims and scope of the journal. Financial, personal, political, religious, or institutional considerations do not determine whether a manuscript is accepted.

Responsible Peer Review. Research manuscripts that pass editorial screening are evaluated by qualified reviewers with relevant academic or professional expertise. Reviewer comments support editorial decisions and help authors improve their work.

Research Integrity. JMED maintains policies for handling plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, authorship concerns, peer-review manipulation, unethical research, and other forms of misconduct.

Transparent Publication Charges. All fees and waiver conditions are disclosed on the journal website before submission. Authors are not charged undisclosed fees after submitting their manuscripts.

Protection of the Scholarly Record. JMED publishes corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, and other editorial notices when needed. Published articles are not removed or altered without an appropriate public record, except in rare cases involving legal obligations, privacy, or serious safety concerns.

Accessible Scholarly Communication. JMED seeks to make published research discoverable and accessible through accurate metadata, stable article pages, appropriate licensing, persistent identifiers, and long-term preservation arrangements.
